The virtual terminal is more secure than a PIN entry on a physical card terminal because it deploys two-factor authentication. From screening the card details through AVS and CV2 — where the cardholder quotes the three digits on the back of the card — your Mail Order and Telephone Order (MOTO) transactions are being authorised as securely as possible.
